Ashley Lund

Ashley joins the SunnyBrook community as the Nursing Home Administrator. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Gerontology, then worked at an Adult Day Care Center before returning to school to get her Nursing Home Administrators License. Ashley worked as a Nursing Home Administrator in Northwest Iowa, before returning to Central Iowa.

Ashley lives in Waukee with her husband, Josh, and their daughter, Ava.

Carolyn Durbin, RN

Carolyn joins the SunnyBrook community as the Director of Nursing. Carolyn brings many years of nursing experience, including Long-Term Care, Department of Inspections and Appeals surveying, and Nurse Consulting for Long-Term Care facilities.

Carolyn lives on a farm south of Dawson with her husband, Don. They have two grown children—Tracy, a pharmacist with Hy-Vee in Perry; and Jason, who owns and operates Jason’s Auto Body and Towing in Perry. She also has four grandchildren.

Kathryn Allen

Kathryn graduated with a degree from the University of North Dakota in Community Nutrition, and worked in the dietetics field for 4 years before taking a position at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge as an Activity Director. A state-certified activity director, Kathryn joined the SunnyBrook community in June 2009.

Kathryn is married to Thomas and has two children—Tommy and a little girl named Taylor. She enjoys reading, playing with her children, and hunting with her husband.

From Highway 80 going west:
Take the US-6/Hickman Road Exit 125, toward Adel. Turn right onto Hickman Road/US-6 W. Continue to follow US-6 W for approximately 12 miles. Stay straight to go onto Greene Street/Old Hwy 6. 1919 Greene Street is on the left.

From Highway 80 going east:
Take the CR-P58 Exit 106, toward CR-F90.Turn left onto CR-P58/360th Street/L Avenue. Continue to follow CR-P58/L Avenue approximately 6 miles. Turn right onto Old Highway 6/300th street. We are on the right.
