Jessica Umthun
Assisted Living Manager

Jessica began her career with SunnyBrook of Fort Madison in October 2008, shortly after the building opened its doors.  Beginning as the Community Relations Coordinator, lending a hand as the Life Enrichment Coordinator and spending a year as the Assistant Manager, Jessica has comprehensive experience with all aspects of SunnyBrook.  Jessica was promoted to Community Manager in October 2011. 

Jessica is a 2004 graduate of Central Lee High Schools and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from University of Iowa in 2008.  After working for Great River Hospice House and Fort Madison Community Hospital in the Community Relations department, Jessica knew she wanted to work with our senior population and their families to help promote health, safety, quality of life and independence. 

Jessica is a native of Lee County and currently resides in Fort Madison with her husband, Brennan, and dog, Marley.  They are expecting their first little girl in February 2013.

Coming from the South on Highways 61 or 2: Drive past the Fort Madison Community Hospital. Continue to 48th Street. (ShopKo is on the corner). Turn left. Drive up 48th Street to the 1st road on your left after the church. Turn left and proceed a short distance. Fort Madison SunnyBrook is on your right.
